I grew up in a small town in Indiana. My love and ability for art came from my parents. Their constant support helped me decide to attend Indiana University to begin a career in art. There I received a bachelors degree in studio art studying form, light and color through drawings, paintings and sculpture. Upon graduation I developed an interest in the creation of CG films and video games. I decided to further my education and was accepted into Gnomon School of Visual Effects. At Gnomon I trained in all areas of 3D, focusing my skills on lighting in Maya.

On my free time I enjoy watching and participating in sports. Basketball, football, and baseball are a few of my favorites. I also enjoy getting my hands dirty with sculpture. I feel that sculpting balances me as a 3D artist. I also have a love for automobiles.
